OK, so sleeping in all my rain gear is not nearly as warm as my sleeping bag, and it gets cold in the night after the rain.

We didn't get much sleep. In addition to being a little cold, my bike lock alarm starts malfunctioning, which means that there's a 110dB alarm going off intermittently next to our tent. It seems to correct itself and then goes off again. I'm sure our fellow campers love it as much as us. It only takes three incidents before I disconnect the alarm and lock altogether. Then, there's some big argument going on on the camp right above us.

It's a lovely day, we spend part of it in town shopping and at the cafe.

Then back at camp, I have a look at Heathers bike to see if I can give her back her missing bottom gears and bend the broken spokes out of the way.  Spokes: no problem. Gears, yes, but I'd need to actually pull more cable through the derailleur and adjust the derailleur from scratch.  I'm worried about making it worse than it is now so I leave that part alone.  There's a bike shop en-route that we can visit tomorrow.

And I order a portable keyboard.  I had to actually speak to a real person in order to make arrangements to deliver it somewhere en-route.  We have to pencil out the next few days and I negotiate back and forth with the Best Buy representative as to how long it will take for shipping and which towns I could easily reach that have a UPS outlet.  It takes several minutes, but I commit to the purchase and I'll have to make it work. I should have a keyboard in another 3 days.
